I went to Steve's Ice Cream store on 42nd St next to Bryant Park and tried some interesting flavors...
Umeboshi Plum is a Japanese salty pickled plum
Kombucha is fermented tea (the sour flavor reminded me of vinegar)
Cucumber Shisho is a refreshing sorbet
I was not in an adventurous mood so got the Ginger ice cream. It was just the right combo of sugar and spice -- tastes like my favorite gingersnap cookies (Anna's Ginger Thins)! Smooth creamy texture. Very happy with it!
